BBL (Broad Band Light) Treatments

Acne Treament:  Light treatment which targets and destroys acne causing bacteria, preventing future breakouts.  This is a non-invasive procedure, with no downtime.  A series of  4-6 treatments is generally recommended with treatments schedules every 2-4 weeks.
Laser Hair Reduction:  Light based hair removal treatments permanently reduce unwanted facial and body hair.  This treatment generally works well to remove dark hair.  Blond, white, and grey hair typically do not respond well.  This is a non-invasive procedure, with no downtime.  A series of at least 4-6 treatments is recommended.    
Photofacial:  Pulsed light treatment which targets vascular and pigmented lesions.  This is a non-invasive procedure with little to no downtime.  This procedure is well tolerated and is great for treating facial spider veins, sun damage, age spots, hemangiomas, and melasma.  It is given as a series of treatments every 3-4 weeks some conditions ay resolve after 1-2 treatments, while others may require many treatments.

Botox/Dysport relaxes facial muscles that cause wrinkles of the upper face.  Results are noticed in 3-7 days and effects typically last 3-6 months.

 Fillers to Smooth Away Wrinkles (http://WWW.JUVEDERM.COMweeblylink_new_window) 
Juvederm/Restylane are filler agents used to soften the cheek creases (nasolabial folds), lines below the mouth (marionette lines), to enhance the lips, and to soften the small wrinkles around the mouth.  It can also be used to fill in depressed scars.  Results are immediate and typically last for 4-6 months.

Chemical Peels 
Chemical peels help improve the skin’s texture and tone to create a healthier, more youthful appearance.  A series of peels will help to decrease pigmentation and stimulate collagen production.  Peeling usually occurs from day 2, and lasts for 3-5 days.  Typically a series of 6 peels is recommended for best results.  Dr. Sakamoto can recommend which peel would be best for you.
